Even though we didn't have any experience as buyers, Jamie did a great job helping us understand our options, potential pitfalls, and things to keep in mind. She was very knowledgeable about what warning signs or problems to look out for when touring the homes as well. The process and paperwork went very smoothly, especially considering our lack of experience as buyers - Jamie and her team did a great job making sure we understood the process and had what we needed! Although it’s still not quite over, our house adventure has been a long 11 months. The first 3 months of our journey ultimately lead to dead end and more dead ends. Through it all though, we have leaned on our realtor Jamie who has not left our side. She came to meetings, researched for us, advised us so well (even if it was advice that we didn’t want to hear at the time), advocated for us, and yes... even lent me a shoulder to cry on during a monumental meeting where I thought our dream of building a house was smashed. She has guided us both with our new house construction and selling our current house. Working with Jamie was very easy and she definitely exceeded our expectations. First of all she cares so much about her clients and it clearly shows. As first time homebuyers, we were not familiar with the terminology or the process of purchasing a home. Jamie was awesome during our home-buying hunt! She always responded to our messages quickly, and walked us through the whole buying process step-by-step, since this was our first house. She was always accommodating with our schedule and looked at somewhere around 40 houses with us over the space of 5 months. Once we found the house, she helped us make a great offer, helped us schedule inspections, and kept us up-to-date throughout the whole contract until closing.

We first reached out to Jamie a number of years ago, initially we were not ready to purchase a home, but she kept in touch with us and waited patiently until we were ready to move forward. We interviewed a number of realtors and she was the most down-to-earth person and we felt like we could connect with her on a personal level. We saw a lot of houses with Jamie, and she was always willing to meet us and show us around, we never once felt that it was an inconvenience for her to show us so many properties. Jamie is someone who lets you lead, she is not an aggressive realtor, she gives you space to take your time and make your own decisions, never pushing her own views on you. Sometimes this was great, other times I would have liked her to share more of her personal thoughts and opinion given her experience in real estate. Jamie was incredibly fast at responding the entire time we worked with her with both text and email. She knew the paperwork process thoroughly and always took care of everything we needed before we knew what we needed. When we got our home, the sellers didn't patch the walls or clean out the garage and Jamie had her painter come and do it at her own expense, she even offered to clean out the garage herself. She was always kind and thoughtful throughout the process. We were lucky to have her as our realtor.

I moved to Columbus in 2011 to pursue a career in architectural history and historic preservation, but was quickly drawn towards real estate after meeting Cynthia and Amy, the original "CYMACKers." I've never looked back and am so grateful for our CYMACK family! Prior to moving here, I lived in several other parts of the country. Central Ohio has so many great attributes~ affordability, wonderful amenities, beautiful scenery and thriving cultural and dining scenes.
